Kakobuy Shipping Agent 2026: Fees, QC and Parcel Guide

Kakobuy is the shipping and purchasing layer behind a kako sheet order: paste a Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Tmall or JD.com link, pay the item price plus roughly 4.5% processing, review free QC photos, then consolidate everything into one parcel. Line rates, coupons and duty thresholds change often, so confirm the live quote at checkout.

Kakobuy is a China-based shopping agent and freight forwarder that buys kako sheet finds, stores them for up to 100 days, runs a QC photo check and consolidates the haul into one international parcel. This page covers its shipping flow, published fees and customs limits.

    About Kakobuy

Kakobuy is a China-based shopping agent operated by parent company EVERYDAY GO INC. It handles procurement, product inspection, freight forwarding, customs clearance and bonded warehousing for buyers outside China, and it is one of the largest agents by traffic, with published monthly visitor numbers above 6.5 million. Its main markets are Poland, the United States, Spain, Canada and the United Kingdom; the company states that more than half of its users are in Europe and that the interface and support cover several European languages.

The agent buys from Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, 1688 and Weidian, and also processes products from sources such as WeChat sellers, Xianyu and Yougou through a manual order form. That matters for a kako sheet workflow, because sheet links and the agent's own search box are interchangeable entry points: whatever link you copy out of a sheet, Kakobuy can usually buy it, hold it and forward it.

On cost, the published structure is deliberately simple: domestic product price, domestic shipping to the warehouse, and a payment processing fee of about 4.5%, converted at roughly 6.19 CNY per US dollar in the schedule we reviewed in April 2026. No separate item service fee is published. International freight, customs charges and optional warehouse add-ons are billed later, when you build the parcel — which is also where the biggest cost differences appear, because freight is quoted on charged weight rather than purchase price.

Our testing team ordered and tested the purchase, QC and consolidation stages with kako sheet finds: link submission, payment, the free photo set, add-on packing options and parcel submission. What we could not verify for you is your final landed cost — per-line freight rates to a specific country, plus duties and brokerage, change with weight, route and season. Start with a small order, keep the first parcel light, and compare the live calculator against the published guidance on this page before scaling up.
    What works well

One-stop buying, inspection, freight forwarding, clearance and bonded warehousing under a single account, run by parent company EVERYDAY GO INC.

    What works well

Large user base for a shipping agent: published monthly traffic above 6.5 million visitors, with Europe the biggest region and Poland, Spain and the UK among its main markets.

    What works well

No published item service fee and a low processing cost of about 4.5% on top of the product price.

    What works well

100 days of free storage means a kako sheet haul can grow before you commit to paying international freight.

    What works well

Consolidation pulls Taobao, Tmall, JD.com, 1688 and Weidian links into one parcel instead of several shipments.

    What works well

New-customer shipping discount with no minimum spend, redeemed once per person on the coupons page.

    What to check

Charged weight is usually the greater of scale weight and volumetric weight, so bulky protective packing can raise the freight quote. Ask for compact packing before you submit the parcel.

    What to check

Warehouse QC verifies colour, size, model, quantity and obvious damage only. It does not assess materials, workmanship or authenticity.

    What to check

Return or exchange requests must be submitted within about 5 days of the QC result, and custom or oversized items are often excluded from returns.

    What to check

The published duty-threshold table is reference data, not official guidance. The United States ended low-value de minimis treatment in 2025, so any '$800 duty-free' assumption is unreliable.

    What to check

Some goods cannot be forwarded at all: perfume is typically limited to one 100–150 ml bottle per package, electronics need specialised lines, and prohibited items stay in the warehouse.

    What to check

Coupon terms and fee schedules move quickly; the numbers on this page were reviewed in April 2026 and should be re-checked at checkout.

    What to check

Community comparisons of recent shipments mention peak-season support delays and occasional tracking lag, so allow extra time on sale weeks.

How the Kakobuy agent fits a kako sheet order

A shopping agent is a middleman, not a shop. Kakobuy buys the Taobao, Tmall, 1688, Weidian or JD.com listing you point it at, receives the goods at its own warehouse, photographs them, holds them in bonded storage and then forwards one consolidated parcel to your address. It does not set the seller's price, and it cannot guarantee that a third-party listing is authentic or well made — which is why the inspection stage matters more than the purchase stage.

Our testing team's flow with kako sheet finds ran like this: copy the link, paste it into Kakobuy, pay for the item and its domestic shipping, wait for the seller to dispatch, review the QC photos when the parcel checks into the warehouse, then build and pay for the international shipment. Nothing left the country until we submitted the parcel, and the 100-day storage window meant a haul could grow across several orders before freight was due.

    What you actually pay

Published Kakobuy pricing layers three things before freight: the domestic item price, domestic shipping to the warehouse, and a payment processing fee of about 4.5%, converted at roughly 6.19 CNY per US dollar in the schedule we reviewed in April 2026. No separate item service fee is published. International freight, customs charges and optional warehouse add-ons are billed later, when you ship.

The agent's own worked example quotes a ¥24.23 item plus ¥2.43 domestic shipping and the processing fee at about ¥28.26. That example also prints a $1.10 figure which does not reconcile with the total at a 6.19 rate, so treat it as an illustration of how the fees stack rather than a verified landed cost. Budget from your own cart total and confirm the live rate, processing fee and line quote at checkout.

    Packing, weight and volumetric charges

Freight is normally billed on the greater of scale weight and volumetric weight, so bulky packing can cost more than the parcel in your hand suggests. Kakobuy sells packing controls rather than imposing them: vacuum packaging at $3.23 per package, item reinforcement at $1.61 and a package preview at $2.90. Community comparisons of 2025–2026 shipments report that generous protective packing can inflate charged volume, so if cost is the priority, ask the warehouse to remove shoe boxes and pack compactly before you submit.

Two weight rules also matter at the border. Parcels above roughly 10 kg are much more likely to be read as commercial, and shipping many identical units in one box has the same effect. Splitting a large haul into two lighter parcels is often cheaper overall than one heavy parcel that attracts duty and brokerage.

Customs thresholds, duty-free routes and the 2025 US change

The duty reference Kakobuy publishes is compiled from third-party data and labelled as guidance rather than official advice. In the version we reviewed it lists roughly $800 for the United States, €22 for the European Union, £15 for the United Kingdom, $30 for Spain, C$20 for Canada, $150 for South Korea, $300 for Singapore and New Zealand, A$1,000 for Australia, ¥130 for Japan and CHF 100 for Switzerland, with a separate CHF 65 VAT threshold. Read it with care: the United States ended low-value de minimis treatment for China-origin parcels in May 2025 and suspended it for all origins later that year, so a '$800 duty-free' assumption no longer holds.

Kakobuy introduced duty-free shipping routes for US-bound parcels in April 2025 and states that those routes carry no additional customs charges, at roughly $5–$10 more per package than standard lines. Outside that scheme, clearance and tax sit with the buyer, the recipient must cooperate if customs requests documents, and the agent supplies only a payment-order screenshot as proof of purchase rather than invoices. Where a duty-free parcel still generates clearance costs, the notice says receipts can be submitted for reimbursement.

Add-on warehouse and shipping services, and what they cost

Beyond the free QC photography and a free package photo, Kakobuy sells a short list of add-ons that affect the shipping outcome more than the purchase price: custom photography at $0.32 per photo, priority procurement at $0.80 per item order, storage extension at $1.61 per order for 30 days, item reinforcement at $1.61 per instance, package preview at $2.90 and vacuum packaging at $3.23 per package. None are compulsory, and unselected add-ons add nothing to the bill.

The two worth paying for on a kako sheet haul are the package preview — cheap insurance against a badly packed box with an awkward volumetric weight — and a storage extension if the haul is still growing as the 100-day window closes. Extra QC photos make sense on high-value or heavily branded items, where colourway and hardware details decide whether you keep the order.

    How to use Kakobuy

Step 1 — Pull your finds from the kako sheet

Copy the product link out of the sheet — Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Tmall or JD.com — and open it in Kakobuy. If you only have a photo, use the image search; if you only have keywords, use the search bar. Before ordering, note the size, colour, batch and whether the seller accepts returns for that specific item.

Step 2 — Place the order and pay for the item

Paste the link into the order form, confirm colour, size and material, and pay the domestic price plus domestic shipping at the published exchange rate of about 6.19 CNY per US dollar, with roughly 4.5% added for payment processing. Sellers normally dispatch within 48–72 hours; if nothing ships after five days, contact support and request a refund rather than waiting.

Step 3 — Review the QC photos before anything ships

The free QC set covers style, quantity, colour, size, model and obvious damage. Order extra angles at $0.32 per photo if the item is expensive or heavily branded. Submit any return or exchange request within about five days of the QC result, and remember that the item can sit in free storage for up to 100 days while you decide.

Step 4 — Build the parcel and pick a line

Select the items you want to combine, choose packing options such as vacuum packaging, reinforcement or a package preview, and pick a shipping line. Prefer a duty-free route where one exists for your country. Keep the parcel under roughly 10 kg and avoid shipping many identical units in one box, since both push a parcel toward commercial classification.

Step 5 — Pay freight, declare and track

Pay the international quote, then watch the tracking. On duty-free routes Kakobuy assists the logistics provider with declaration and tax payment; on other routes you handle clearance and related costs yourself. If a duty-free parcel still generates clearance charges, keep the receipts, because the agent's notice says such costs can be claimed back.

Treat Kakobuy as a freight forwarder first and a storefront second. In a kako sheet workflow the sheet already gives you the catalogue; what the agent adds is the warehouse. Someone buys the link on your behalf, receives the goods domestically, stores them free for 100 days, photographs them for QC, and then packs several sellers' items into one box.

Step one is the cheap part: pay for the item. Domestic product price plus domestic shipping, converted at the published rate of about 6.19 CNY per US dollar, with a payment processing fee of roughly 4.5% on top. Sellers usually dispatch within 48–72 hours; if nothing moves after five days, the listing is probably out of stock and a refund request is reasonable.

Step two is where the money is decided. When the pouch reaches the warehouse you get the standard QC set — three photos as published, with extra angles at $0.32 each. Check colourway, size, hardware and stitching against the listing, because this is the last moment when a return costs almost nothing. Requests to return or exchange need to go in within about five days of the QC result.

Step three is packing. Freight is billed on the greater of scale weight and volumetric weight, so ask the warehouse to remove shoe boxes and pack compactly, use vacuum packaging at $3.23 per package if the items allow it, and buy the $2.90 package preview if you want to see the box before it is sealed. Keep parcels under roughly 10 kg and avoid many identical units in one box — overweight or repetitive parcels are the ones customs reads as commercial.

Step four is choosing a line. Duty-free routes exist for some destinations and carry no additional customs charge, at roughly $5–$10 more per package than standard lines. On everything else, clearance and tax are yours, so read the route notes rather than the headline rate. Published freight guidance changes often — the fee data we reviewed dates from April 2026, the duty-free notice from April 2025, and coupon terms are single-redemption per person — so confirm your own quote, current promotion and route rules inside the account before you pay.

    Frequently asked

    1. How long does Kakobuy hold my items before I have to ship them?

Free storage runs 100 days from warehouse check-in, and the agent emails a reminder before it expires. After that, storage can be extended at $1.61 per order for 30 days. Nothing is forwarded internationally until you submit the parcel yourself.

    2. Can Kakobuy ship perfume, batteries or branded electronics?

There are limits. The published guidance allows roughly one 100–150 ml perfume bottle per package, sends electronics through specialised shipping lines, and refuses goods on its prohibited list even after purchase. Confirm with customer service before ordering restricted items, because warehouse stock that cannot be forwarded stays where it is.

    3. Is Kakobuy a sensible first agent for a kako sheet haul?

It is a real, high-traffic platform rather than a clone site, operated by parent company EVERYDAY GO INC. The genuine risks are seller quality, volumetric weight and customs, not the agent's existence. Use the QC photos, keep the first parcel light, and test the pipeline with a small order.

    Orientdig

Orientdig is a China shopping agent built around two separate confirmations: check the original product listing before you buy, then check the packed parcel before it flies. Our testing team ordered through it after finding items on a spreadsheet, and the workflow held up — paste a marketplace link or use keyword, image or DIY ordering, wait for HD QC photos at the warehouse, then consolidate and choose an international route. Its published fee snapshot lists a 5.50 service fee, 90-day storage and 0.15 per detailed photo, and rehearsal packing costs 3.00 per parcel so the shipping estimate is based on a packed box rather than a product-page guess. Final freight still depends on actual or volumetric weight, destination and route, so treat any early number as provisional.
