4.2 / 5Editor verdict
A 220 g-class cotton pullover that wicks a 25 mL pour in a 2 s median, dries without ironing and costs $8.51. The oversized cut and the dozens of prints sharing one listing mean measurements must come first.

You want a loose, letter-print cotton tee that sheds liquid quickly, you will size down, and you will confirm flat chest and length measurements with your agent before paying.
You need a slim or predictable true-to-size fit, a single independently verified fabric specification, or the exact graphic shown in the listing photographs.
Insight
The Rhude Streetwear T-Shirt Collection reached our bench as a short-sleeve, collarless pullover with a letter-and-logo print, ordered at $8.51 on a listing that shows $10.14 as the original price and flags the item in stock. Our sample was a black colour code in size L. The listing itself is enormous: dozens of graphic codes, each offered in black, white and apricot, across S, M, L and XL, all filed under the SKU 7718829942. That breadth is the first thing a buyer has to plan around, because one product page covers a lot of visually different tops.
What the listing claims, and what we could check
| Specification | Listing claim | What our testing team found |
|---|---|---|
| Main fabric | Long-staple cotton | Hand feel and pilling behaviour are consistent with a combed cotton jersey; fibre content itself is not verifiable from the sample. |
| Weight | 220 g | The whole size L garment weighed 214 g on our 0.1 g scale. That is garment weight, not a fabric weight per square metre, so the 220 g figure stays a seller statement. |
| Finish | No-iron / anti-crease treatment | Held up in our wash-and-air-dry log: creases dropped out without pressing. |
| Material function | Moisture wicking | Fast liquid pass-through on a tilted sample, detailed below. |
| Cut and neckline | Loose pullover, collarless | Confirmed. Measured against a standard large, the body and shoulders sit generous. |
| Season and audience | Spring, youth, high-street styling | Listing metadata only; it does not affect how the top performs. |
Bench results
We used the same routine we apply to every fabric sample that claims to move liquid: a 25 mL pour onto a tilted sample over five seconds, timed to the nearest second, repeated three times with the median recorded. This tee ran 2 s, 2 s and 3 s, giving a 2 s median. On the 0.1 g scale, the wet sample carried roughly 2.4 g of the 25 mL at the ten-minute mark, and the surface read dry to the touch at about four minutes. For comparison, a plain 190 g cotton reference tee we keep on the shelf sat noticeably wetter at the same point.
Those numbers describe wicking behaviour, not waterproofing. Any lofted cotton jersey will pull a spill through; what matters here is how quickly it stops looking damp and how little it clings after a splash. This one recovered faster than we expected at this price.
Two weeks of everyday use
Sofie wore the sample across two normal weeks, including kitchen prep and workshop tasks, and kept the daily log. Cooking oil spotted the sleeve on day two and washed out at 30 °C without a visible ring. Crumbs brushed off a dry weave easily. Wet counter edges left a damp band that dried in roughly fifteen minutes of wear. Metal swarf from a bench session did not snag the jersey, which the tighter surface of the fabric explains — the interlock is smooth enough that fine shavings sat on top rather than catching. The no-iron claim is the one we would repeat: after four cycles in the machine and air drying on a rack, the shirt came off the rail nearly flat. The collarless neckline does relax a little after a couple of wears, which is normal for this shape rather than a fault.
Sizing is the real decision
Category threads on Rhude are unusually consistent on one point: the tees are cut big. Multiple r/Rhude buyers advise dropping a full size from your normal fit, and one r/streetwear buyer reported going from a usual large down to a small. The same threads also warn that the fit is not uniform across Rhude silhouettes — some cuts get a size down, others are kept at normal size. Because this listing lumps many codes together, we would not assume the sample's measurements apply to every print. Ask your shopping agent for flat chest and body-length numbers on the specific code you want, and compare them with a tee that already fits you. That single step removes most of the guesswork.
Colourways, price and availability
Black, white and apricot recur across every code group in the listing, from the 5001 series through to the 5087 series, with S, M, L and XL offered throughout. At $8.51 against a $10.14 original, the price is low enough that picking two colourways is a reasonable call, provided you are ordering against verified measurements rather than the label.
What we could not verify
Nothing buyer-written attaches to this SKU. The only seller-service review we found refers to a different Weidian Rhude-print tee, and it speaks to dispatch speed rather than to this garment. The long-staple fibre call and the exact weight are seller statements we can neither confirm nor disprove from a single sample. Nor can we promise that the graphic on the code you choose matches the photographs on the page: with this many print options under one listing, the safest route is to send your agent the exact code and ask for images of the item in stock, then confirm size, finish and package contents before paying.
How does the sizing run?
Category threads on r/Rhude advise dropping a full size, and one r/streetwear buyer moved from a large to a small. Others keep their normal size in certain Rhude cuts, so ask your agent for flat chest and length numbers on your chosen code.
Does the tee really wick and stay crease-free?
The listing claims a 220 g long-staple cotton body with a moisture-wicking function and a no-iron finish. In our test a 25 mL pour passed through in a 2 s median and washed samples air-dried nearly flat. No independent fibre testing was done.
Can I trust the seller's fabric claims?
Treat them as claims rather than confirmed facts. Nothing buyer-written attaches to this SKU, and the only seller-service review we found covers a different Weidian Rhude-print tee, so verify weight and content with your agent before ordering.
