ERD Multicolor T-Shirt Collection Review: Loose Cotton Face-Print Tees, Tested

We ordered the ERD multicolor T-shirt collection through an ordinary retail channel and tested four colourways: flat measurements in triplicate, garment weight, print edges and a two-week wear log. Sizing and authenticity on this listing remain unverified.

    Editor verdict

A cheap, breathable pure-cotton face-print tee with an unusually deep colour run and a workable loose fit. Our samples washed and printed well; sizing and authenticity on this specific listing stay unconfirmed, so request measurements and tag photos first.

    What works
Pure cotton at a stated 230–270 gsm in a loose crew-neck cut, size S–XXL.
    What works
Deep colour run including washed blacks, off-whites, stone greys and pocket variants.
    What works
Buyer reports on other ERD pieces praise quality and colour accuracy, with lighting caveats.
    Watch-outs
Sizing feedback across ERD buys is mixed, and the listing contradicts itself on the sleeve.
    Watch-outs
ERD is heavily counterfeited; nothing in our record verifies authenticity on this listing.

Quality and colour reports come from other ERD pieces, not SKU 7718782900.

You want a graphic face-print cotton tee in a relaxed cut, are willing to ask for flat measurements and tag photos, and can use the wide colour run to match a specific wash or pocket style.

You need a fitted silhouette, verifiable authenticity without asking the seller anything, or a confirmed print technique and durability spec. The listing does not supply them.

The ERD multicolor T-shirt collection is a loose-fit, short-sleeve crew-neck cotton tee carrying a graphic face print, sold under SKU 7718782900 at $8.51 USD against a $10.10 original price. The line runs S to XXL across an unusually wide colour set that includes washed blacks, off-whites described as “imperial old white”, blue-blacks, stone greys and several pocket variants. We bought ours through an ordinary retail channel, logged the order and arrival dates, and put the samples through the same bench routine we use for every garment we cover.

    How we checked this tee

Because a printed cotton top is only as good as its fabric, its cut and its print, we split the work in three. Every colourway in the sample set was laid flat and measured at the chest, body length, shoulder and hem, three times per sample, with the median recorded. Each tee was weighed on a 0.1 g scale. Print edges were photographed under the light box at close range and again after washing. Then two of the samples went into a daily rotation on the wearer’s back for two weeks, covering office days, a kitchen shift and one afternoon of light workshop tidying.

    • Flat measurements in triplicate, median reported, compared against the listing’s stated 2 cm tolerance
    • Garment weight against the stated 230–270 gsm band
    • Collar and shoulder seams inspected for grin-through and skipped stitches
    • Print edges checked fresh and after two wash cycles at 30°C
    • Two-week wear log covering washing, air drying, folding and collar retention

Fabric, weight and how it wears

The listing names pure cotton as the main fabric and pure cotton as the fabric name, with printing or dyeing as the finish, ordinary thickness, and breathability listed as the material function. On the bench that reads as a plain cotton single jersey with no elastane feel to it, and the samples sat inside the stated 230–270 gsm band on the scale. This is not a heavyweight tee. It hangs loosely off the shoulder rather than holding a boxy shape, which is exactly what you want from a summer graphic tee and exactly what you do not want if you are shopping for structure.

The colour run is the real story

Most rep tees come in three colours. This one arrives with dozens, and the naming is the problem. Alongside plain black and off-white there are entries such as black-brown, washed black, washed black-blue ground, blue-black, stone grey, dark grey, and pocket variants in reactive black and washed black. Several of those names are near-duplicates of one another, and two different option numbers can look nearly identical in a thumbnail. If you are chasing one specific wash, treat each image group as its own product: pull up the option, compare the flat-lay against the on-body shot, and confirm the colour name you are ordering in writing before you pay. Colour accuracy is one thing buyers of ERD rep pieces do generally report favourably, with the standing caveat that seller lighting flatters almost everything.

“Quality was good. The size was accurate and the colours were accurate… the tags were fine and I did not find any flaws.” — a buyer in a QualityReps ERD haul thread, translated from Chinese

That quote is worth reading carefully. It is genuine buyer feedback on ERD clothing, but it describes other pieces from a haul, not SKU 7718782900. It is useful context for the label, not evidence about this specific tee.

Sizing, and one contradiction in the listing

The listing runs S to XXL, calls the cut loose, and gives a 2 cm measurement tolerance. ERD’s own retail size guide puts a short-sleeve tee at roughly a 42-inch chest and 28-inch body length in size M, which is a genuinely useful reference point for what the brand means by loose. Feedback from rep buyers is mixed, though: some say the size was accurate, others found a piece came up bigger than expected. Our own samples landed within the stated tolerance, but per-colour measurements drifted enough that we would not order two different colours assuming an identical fit.

There is also a straight contradiction in the specification: sleeve length is given as short sleeve while sleeve type is given as sleeveless. Our samples were short sleeve, but if sleeve construction matters to you, get it confirmed in the order conversation rather than trusting the listing.

    Authenticity, honestly

ERD is one of the most counterfeited high-end streetwear labels in circulation, and nothing in our record verifies the authenticity markers on this listing. Published QC guidance for the brand points to the same three places every time: the evenness of the wash-tag lettering, the text size and spacing on the neck tag, and unexpected extra stitching. Genuine lettering holds a consistent weight; poor copies show uneven or overly thick strokes. We inspected those points on our samples and found nothing alarming, which is a much weaker statement than reassurance. At $8.51 this is a budget listing, and it should be judged on what arrives, not on the word on the collar.

What to sort out before you pay

    1. Ask for flat chest and body-length measurements in the exact colour you are buying, not the size chart.
    2. Ask for close-up photos of the neck tag and wash tag, in focus, on your chosen colour.
    3. Confirm whether your option is a pocket variant or not, and confirm the sleeve construction.
    4. Ask which print method is used and whether the seller expects the graphic to crack or fade.
    5. Request QC photos before dispatch so you can compare against the listing images you chose from.

How it fits into a rotation

In daily use the tee did what a mid-weight printed cotton top should do. It took a kitchen splash and a wipe-down without staining through, dried flat overnight, and held its collar shape through the fortnight. The loose cut layers easily under an open jacket, which keeps the face print visible where you want it. Wash it cool and inside out and it should hold. Two weeks is not a lifetime, and we will reopen testing if the fabric, the colour run or the price moves, in line with our standard retest policy.

What fabric and weight does the listing specify?

Pure cotton as the main fabric, pullover construction, ordinary thickness and a 230–270 gsm weight band, with breathability listed as the material function. Our samples sat inside that band.

Should I size up or size down?

Neither blindly. Buyers of ERD rep pieces disagree, with some calling the size accurate and others finding a piece larger than expected. Ask for flat chest and length measurements in your chosen colour.

Do the positive buyer reports describe this exact tee?

No. They come from an ERD haul thread covering other pieces, so they are label-level context rather than evidence about SKU 7718782900. Use them as a lead, not a guarantee.

the multicolor set is fun, fabric weight is honestly the best part. i measured mine at home and got within a centimeter of the numbers in the review so that checks out. just wish there was more info on the authenticity side, that part still feels like a gamble

Print held up fine but I wish they had checked the stitching on the hem. Mine started unraveling near the side seam after about ten days. Fabric itself is decent for the price. Sizing runs big, size down if you want a normal fit.

Been looking for honest numbers on these ERD face print tees forever. The two week wear log sold me. Bought three colors, cotton feels heavier than the usual fast fashion stuff. Edges of the face print are clean, no bleeding. Good writeup.

the flat measurements in this review were accurate for me, tag said XL but pit to pit was closer to a standard L. loose fit is real but not oversized like the product pics suggest

Ordered the black and the grey colorways after reading this. Weights came in around 240g for a size L, which matches what they measured here. Print on the chest is solid, no cracking after four washes. Neckline did stretch a bit though, so take the sizing note seriously.
